Coverage Budgets

The Coverage Budgets module helps you schedule efficiently and analyze your labor costs. Budgets set targets for worked time or paid time off for a group of employees. Attendance on Demand compares your labor budget to employee schedules, as well as to the actual hours employees work.

The Coverage Budgets module also calculates labor ratios that are important to you. Attendance on Demand specialists work with you to determine your goals and the ratios, measurements, and notifications that will help lower your labor costs.

For example, you enter patient census and the Coverage Budgets module calculates the FTEs required at different positions. Or, you enter production level and the Coverage Budgets module calculates the number of operators needed. It can track labor cost of sales, and help select the right ratio of highly-paid senior staff to lower-paid assistants.
